JCTIC has successfully run the weekends (Saturday only) Japanese Story/Folklore Telling Services for Japanese Children. The service is held on Saturdays 5pm onwards and the stories are told and conducted by mrs ‘Soeno Aiko-san’ .
The children are all Japanese as it is catered for Japanese families who are married locally and wanted to have their children exposed to the Japanese culture and folklores.
For more information, you are welcome to contact JCTIC or Mrs Okamura Aya directly for for further help.

The old Sabah State Library has now been closed since 27th Dec 2011. This is the nearest most convenient library in the city. We still have another library at Donggongon and 1
more near the State Archive building but both are very far. The old one is now currently transfered to Suria Shopping Complex building on the 4th floor but it is not announced when it will be reopened.
